We’re looking forward to a weekend of TOP COMPETITION with the best of Irish riders and horses competing in Showjumping, Ridden Classes, and Carriage Classes over the two days. As always, it’s promising to be an exciting weekend for all !!

 

With a jam-packed weekend of competition, we are really looking forward to welcoming all competitors and supporters for another great weekend of sport — SJI showjumping including the Gain |Alltech National Grand Prix, kindly sponsored by Joe Duffy Motors, Mervue Leinster Tour, Riding classes including RDS and NIF qualifiers, Trade and Private Driving classes, and the ever popular Boppers and Trotters classes for our younger talent.

Boppers and Trotters

We are always delighted to welcome our talented youngest riders. Join us to cheer on all in our Boppers and Trotters classes, starting Sunday 11am.

Carriage Classes

Showcasing the best of Irish carriage driving, Carriage classes will start at 11am on Sunday. Always a fantastic spectacle, so come along to cheer on these great competitors.

Ring 1 - Equestrian Showing Classes Saturday, starting 10.30am

A. Ladies Side Saddle, 5 yrs old or over (RDS qualifier)

B. Ladies Side Saddle Intermediate, 5 yrs old or over, 148cms or over but not exceeding 185cms (RDS qualifier)

C. Small Hunter

D. Ridden Hunter, confined to 4 year olds, exceeding 158cms

Class E will start no earlier than 2pm

E. Lightweight Hunter, 4 yrs old and over, to carry 12 stone 7lbs

F. Middleweight Hunter, 4 yrs old and over, to carry up to 13 stone

G. Heavyweight Hunter, 4 yrs old and over, to carry 14 stone or over

Championship Classes 3-7 above

 

Ring 2 - Equestrian Showing classes Saturday, starting 10.30am

H. Riding Horse, 4 yrs old and over

I. Open Cob Class, Lightweight, Heavyweight and Maxi, 4 yrs and over

J. Amateur

K. Irish Draught Ridden Hunter, confined to registered Irish draughts, 4 yrs old and over, exceeding 155cms

L. Coloured Ridden Hunter, 4 yrs old and over, 15.1hh and upwards

M. Connemara, Rider under 16

N. Connemara, Rider over 16

O. Racehorse to Riding Horse (RDS Qualifier)

Ring 3 - Starting at 11am

P. 70cm Working Hunter, 4 yrs old and over, 15hh upwards

Q. 80cm Working Hunter, 4 yrs old and over, 15hh upwards (NIF Qualifier)

R. 90cm Working Hunter, 4 yrs old and over, 15hh upwards (NIF Qualifier)

S. 90cm Working Hunter, 4 yrs old and over, Small Hunter (NIF Qualifier)

T. 1m Working Hunter, 4 yrs old and over, 15hh upwards (NIF Qualifier)
