Flavours of Fingal Gardening & Horticultural Show is organised by Fingal Horticultural Society (Swords) with Malahide, Naul & Balbriggan Gardening Clubs.
Increased Awards & Prize Fund for 2024…all supported by Fingal County Council
In the Horticulture Marquee there will be over 90 competition classes for Flowers, Pot Plants, Vegetables, Fruit, Home Baking, Handcrafts, Flower Arranging and special Children's Classes under 9yrs and under 15yrs. We also have 6 qualifier competitions for All-Ireland Championships in Vegetables & Home Baking to be held later at shows in Tullamore, Virginia, Castleblayney & Tydavnet.
There will also be a wide selection of activities including Floral Art/Flower Arranging Demonstrations by Christoper White (Gold Medal winner in Chelsea & Bloom), Hanging Basket & Container Gardening by Michael Connolly (outstanding Horticulturalist & Exhibitor), Gardening Advice, Seed Sowing, Herb Growing, Plant Propagation, Gardening Marquee Treasure Hunt, plus Children’s Corner with seed sowing to take home and grow on.
So, if you think that you can grow the Best Vegetables & Flowers in Fingal or if you would like to be the Best Baker in Fingal come along and join us at Flavours…entry to all competitions is FREE, with great prizes to be won.
The Competition Classes are open to everyone, and we especially encourage first time exhibitors who will be assisted with their entries by members of the Fingal Gardening Clubs. A Perpetual Silver Salver plus a cash prize of €50, sponsored by Fingal Council will be awarded to the Best Exhibit in Sweet Pea, Cut Flowers & Pot Plants, Vegetables & Fruit, Home Baking and Hand Crafts.

LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS
The Horticulture Section will have a Tribute Table in honour of Madaleine Harford RIP and Tony Boston RIP.
Competition Entries close at 9pm on Wednesday 26th June 2024 and should be submitted by email to: info@fingalhorticulturalsociety.com or Phone: 086 3901105
Exhibits should be staged on Friday 28th June between 2pm and 7pm or on Saturday morning between 7.30am and 9.45am, followed by judging at 10am.
